D/RS Instrumentbox

With the D/RS Instrumentbox, RS232C and Mitutoyo Digimatic instruments can be read into a
PC, making them available online for Approve or other software. The box is equipped with four 10p
Digimatic and four 9p sub‑D connectors, allowing the maximum of four RS232C or eight instruments
with a Digimatic output to be connected. There is also a foot switch connection. The box can be
connected to a PC’s COM (RS232C) or, via an optional adapter, USB port.

DiMag converter

The DiMag is an interface for direct data collection from measuring instruments with a Digimatic
data output, for example Mitutoyo. The USB connection provides a RS232C interface (according
Magnescale U-series dial indicators). Data can also be requested through the built-in data button or
foot switch. The USB interface is powered from the data connection and emulates a COM port.
