TESA data processing

TESA offers multiple options for the processing of measuring data from eligible digital measuring
instruments and gauges. This varies from importing data through the USB port, through interface
modules, or wireless using the TESA TWIN & LINK connectivity concept. For data processing,
several software options can be requested. The TESA DATA-Viewer is free to download and offers
the possibility for simple data acquisition in, for example, Microsoft Excel. If a more elaborate
data storage is required, such as the sorting of cells within Microsoft Excel or data polling, then
DATA-Direct offers the solution. With the TESA software STAT-Express it is even possible to apply
extensive process analysis (SPC).

TESA Link Connector (TLC)

TESA Link Connector-USB/Digimatic
Every instrument with an Opto-RS232, Sub-D-RS232, or TLC output, can be connected to USB or

Digimatic interface by using the TLC cable. On instruments with the TLC output, the TLC cable can
be connected directly. On instruments with an Opto-RS232 or Sub-D-RS232, an adapter is available.

TESA Link Connector-Bluetooth
The TESA Link Connector-Bluetooth transmitter is available to send data using Bluetooth. This

transmitter can be connected directly to instruments with the TLC connector. On instruments with an
Opto-RS232 or Sub-D-RS232, an adapter is available. The startup set consists of a Bluetooth receiver
(in case this isn’t available) and one TLC-Bluetooth transmitter. On a single Bluetooth dongle, a
maximum of eight instruments can be connected at the same time, with a maximum of 5 dongles per
system (40 instruments).
